Vincent Selby's work is widely exhibited and sold in galleries of important art dealers throughout the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
Born in 1919 in Stockport, Cheshire, Vincent Selby became very interested in music and art at an early age. He studied art at Stockport College and had instruction from notable artists of the 1930 period.
Selby served in the Royal Artillery from 1939 to 1946 and, on his return to civilian life, he was employed in display and interior design as Display Controller for a leading furniture house.
In 1973, he became a full-time artist.
Vincent Selby's work is widely exhibited and sold in galleries of important art dealers throughout the United Kingdom and the United States of America. He is a member of the Association of Professional Artists and now lives in Cheshire. He is married with a son and daughter and has three grandchildren.
