Lauren Bissell was born in Birmingham and now lives in Bournemouth, Dorset, England.

A member of the Hilliard Society of Miniaturists and Marwell Art Society, Lauren has exhibited her work in a number of galleries and is a regular contributor to the art exhibitions at Marwell Zoo Arts Society.

Her other interests include music and photography.

Many of her paintings are based on photographs taken by Lauren Bissell herself.
