Animals have always inspired Donna Stacey to capture their images by painting their movement and characters. Painting and animals has been a passion of hers for as long as she can remember.

Donna Stacey studied art and design at college and went on to work as a freelance interior designer, specialising in fabrics and painting murals. Her work took her all over the country until, needing a change of direction in life, Donna changed walls for canvas.

Donna Stacey has always been able to explore many media, acrylics becoming her favourite. She has always been an animal lover; having horses, and a few garden chickens which give her plenty of opportunity to study them. Donna loves walking and wild life – there’s always so much to see and paint!
